I have many long incomplete posts. I also feel isolated and unknown during a month of being offline (which will partially extend into September). So I’m limiting myself to <500 word posts for the month, which I bet will naturally make me publish sub-essays from those drafts as higher quality posts.
I could say more about this. But I feel an almost physical aversion to hitting publish on a post this short on my website. A part of me senses wrongness about it. But that part is wrong. So I disobey.
